lessons I’m still learning

I've been pretty busy the last few weeks, but as of March 1, my house is again rented. We're getting less that I'd hope, but it is house only, and they have no livestock, so they can't screw up the pasture like the last 'tenants'. The security deposit check and the first months rent check were taken to the banks the funds resided in and turned into cash, and the cash was taken to my (and Michael's) bank and deposited! A neighbor is going to be leasing the pasture, so we don't have to worry about irrigating, burning and pulling ditches, etc.

New knowledge: there is not such thing as a bill larger than $100. Somehow my silly little brain thought $500 bills existed. I guess only in monopoly...

I'm a caretaker...I do things for others before I take care of me. This is a long, long, old pattern. This isn't new. And I do go through phases of being better about taking care of me first before taking care of others, and I go through phases where I'm terrible about taking care of me first.

Knowledge: old habits are hard to break! and they're MY habits, and I can't blame others when I'm unhappy with my own actions
